ABSTRACT RESPONSE OF CABE FARMERS TO THE DEMONSTRATION OF ORGANIC FERTILIZER MAKING OF BOKASHI ORGANIC FERTILIZER IN RAWIT CABE PLANTS IN WERI KELURAHAN LARANTUKA DISTRICT EAST FLORES DISTRICT Agustina Letek Lapon¹, Donatus Kantur, SP., MP², Herlyn Djunina, S.Sos.,MA Research on the response of chili farmers to the demonstration of making bokashi organic fertilizer on cayenne pepper in Weri village, Larantuka District, East Flores Regency was carried out in August – September 2020. This study aims to determine the response of farmers to the production of organic bokashi fertilizer in cayenne pepper and the relationship between farmers’ responses to the production of bokashi fertilizer with internal and external factors. The method used in this research is the method of demonstration methods to the Bell farmer group which consists of 28 farmers. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires to chilli farmers in Weri Village. The variables measured in this study were the response of chilli farmers, farmer attitudes and internal and external factors. The research data were analyzed descriptively and continued with the Spearman Rank correlation analysis to determine the relationship between farmers' responses to the manufacture of bokashi fertilizer with internal and external factors. The results showed that the response of chilli farmers in Weri Village showed that the farmers' knowledge after the demonstration of making bokashi fertilizer was in the high category. Likewise, the attitude of the farmers after the demonstration on how to make bokashi fertilizer was the attitude of the farmers to accept it. There is a relationship between internal and external factors with farmer knowledge, factors that have a relationship, namely age, education, length of farming, excellence, suitability, and can be tried.
