PERCEPTION OF FARMERS OF SIMANTRI 19 GROUP ON SIMANTRI PROGRAMS IN PAPANG VILLAGE, KECAMATAN SATAR MESE, MANGGARAI DISTRICT Arsenoldus G. Nanggur ¹, Endeyani V. Muhammad ², Wely Yitro Pello ³ This study aims to determine the perceptions of farmers in the SIMANTRI 19 group towards the SIMANTRI program and determine the influence between internal and external factors on the perceptions of farmers in the SIMANTRI 19 group towards the SIMANTR. This research was conducted in the SIMANTRI 19 group, Papan village,Maggarai Regency, in september 2020.The population in sample of this study were members of the SIMANTRI 19 group which added 38 people.this research uses survey methods, interviews, questionnairs, literature searches. The method of analysis uses scoring methods and multiplelinear regression. The results of the analysis show that the farmers' perceptions of the simantri program are positive as seen from their knowledge and attitudes.Farmers' knowledge is classified as high with a score of 2.44 and the attitude of the farmers is boxing with a score of 2.48. Factors that influence the perception of group farmers towards the simantri program are factors of farming experience, intensity of extension, and mentoring.
