The purpose of this study was\r\nto determine the response (attiudes, knowledge) of farmers to the usa of botanical\r\npesticides for soursop leaves on mustard greens using demonstration methodes\r\nand to examine the relatoinship between internal and external factor regarding the\r\nresponse (attitudes, knowledge) of farmers in Umalor Village to the use of\r\nbotanical pesticide technology. Soursop leaves to control leafworm pests\r\n(spodoptere exigua) on mustard plants. This study uses demonstration methods\r\nand methods of analysis, namely the scoring, correlation of tau control and rank\r\nSpearman.\r\nThe results of the analysis showed that the knowledge of farmers after\r\napplying technology was included in the high category with an average value of\r\n2,42 (high category) and the attitude that was included in the accept category with\r\nan average of 2,53. As well as the relationship between internal and external\r\nfactors that influence the response which has a significant relationship, namely the\r\nexperience of farming, intensity of counseling, technological characteristics and\r\nage.\r\nKey words : response, farmer groups, soursop leaves, caterpillar pests, vegetable\r\npesticides, mustard greens.\r\n1) Student of Kupang State Agricultural Polytechnic\r\n2) Advisor",
