Research about knowledge and skill level of farmers on pruning technology of tomato shoots had been conducted in Gurung Liwut Village, Borong District, East Manggarai Regency from August to September 2020. The research aimed (1). to know knowledge and skill level of farmers on pruning technology of tomato shoots, and (2). to know the relationship of internal and external factors which influence knowledge and skill level of farmers on pruning technology of tomato shoots. Research method used was descriptive method using data collection technique through observation, interview, questionnaire, documentation and literature. Research data was analyzed using scoring analysis and Spearman Rank. Results showed that knowledge of farmers was in high category with average score 2.75 and skill of farmers was also in high category with average score 2,63. Meanwhile factors which had relationship with knowledge and skill of farmers on pruning technology of tomato shoots were external factors namely technological characteristics.
