The Perception of Fenun Farmer Group in Baumata Village Taebenu Subdistrict Kupang Regency toward Rice Straw Ammoniation Technology as Cattle Feeding Yohanes Folkes Penda1;Endeyani V. Muhammad2;Cokorda B.D.P. Mahardika3 Ammoniation technology can transform rice straws’ hard structure into milder ones, improve digestion, palatability, consumption, and feeding content materials for cattles. The objective of this research was to identify farmers’ perceptions toward ammoniation technology of rice straw and the relationship between internal and external factors toward their standpoints regarding the technology. The study was carried in single group posttest only design of quasi experimental and descriptive method designed in demonstration mode. Data was collected using interview and questionnaire distributed to 25 respondents and analyzed using Spearman’s rank of correlation coefficient (rho). The result indicated that the Fenun farmer group perception toward rice straw ammoniation technology was positive (2.64) whereas the internal and external factors related to their perception were age (0.415), relative advantages (0.523), degree of compatibility (0.456), and degree of complexity (0.350).
