    "notes": "This study aims to determine the effect of monosodium glutamate \r\n(MSG) dosage on the yield of long bean (Vigna sinensis L.) Platoon varieties. The \r\nresearch was conducted from May to July 2020 in Penfui Timur Village, Central\r\nKupang District, Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The research\r\nmethod used a randomized block design (RBD), with 9 treatments and 3\r\nreplications. The treatments tried were No MSG, 2,5; 5; 7.5; 10; 12.5; 15; 17.5;\r\nand 20 g \/ plant. Parameters observed were flowering age (days), number of pods\r\n(fruit), pod length (cm), and pod weight (g). The results showed that the MSG\r\ndose of 15 g \/ plant gave the best results for the number of pods as much as 16,2\r\nfruit \/ plant, the best pod length was 60,4 cm and the best pod weight was 256,4 g\r\n\/ plant.\r\n \r\nKey words: long beans, dosage, MSG, plant yield",
