PENGARUH WAKTU PERENDAMAN BENIH SALAK DALAM LARUTAN ASAM SULFAT (H 2 SO 4 )TERHADAP VIABILITAS DAN VIGOR BENIH SALAK

growthofzalaccaseed:2)to knowing thebestsubmersiontimeof
zalaccaseedinacidsulphatesolution(H2SO4)whogavethebestviability
andgrowth.Thisstudywascarriedoutatthescreenhouseoffoodcrops
and horticulture departmentofthe State Agriculture Polythecnic of
Kupangwhobeganfrom JulytoOctober2018.Thedesignusedinthis
studywasrandomizedblockcompletedesigned.Thetreatmentwhotried
were25% ofconcetrationwiththesubmersiontimeofzalaccaseedin
acidsulphatesolution(H2SO4)with7treatmentasfallows:W0:ithout
treatment,W2:submersiontime10minutes,W3:submersiontime20
minutes,submersion time 30 minutes,submersion time 40 minutes,
submersiontime50minutesandsubmersiontime60minutes.Each
treamentrepeated4times.Theresultofthisresearchshowed:1)the
durationofsubmersiontimeofzalaccaseedin25% ofH2SO4solution
gaveveryrealeffecttotheviabilityandseedgrowth,and2)thebest
durationofsubmersontimeofzalaccaseedinH2SO4solutionwasfor10
minuteswhogavethe82,50%ofgermination,velocityofgrow16,77%per
day,andseedgrowattheageof10weeksafterplanteditisheightseed
21,67cm,amountofleaves3sheet,lengthandwidthleaves17,53cm and
7,50cm,amountofroots8,25sheetandlengthroots17,13cm.
