"notes": "This study aims to determine the weight, length and calcium and \r\nphosphorus content of the tibia bones of crossbreed native chickens which were fed\r\nration containing suweg (Amorphophallus campanulatus BL) tuber meal. The\r\nexperimental design used was Completely Randomized Design with 4 treatments\r\nand 5 replication. The treatments were P0 = rations without suweg tuber meals, P1=\r\nrations containing suweg tuber flour 5%, P2= rations containing suweg tuber meals\r\n7.5% and P3= rations containing suweg tuber meals 10%. The tibia bone of the\r\nchicken were collected on the 8\r\nth\r\n week. Chickens were fasted 6 hours, slaughtered\r\nand feathered. The lower thighs then dissected to collect the tibia bone. The tibia\r\nbone were cleaned from the remnants of adherent tissues by dipping in hot water at\r\n70\r\no\r\nC, then measure the length and weight. Samples of tibia bones were oven dried\r\nat 60\r\no\r\nC for 48 hours, crushed and then analysed the calcium and phosphorus\r\ncontent. The results showed that the utilization of suweg tuber meals in rations have\r\nno significant (P>0.05) effect on the weight, length and calcium and phosphorus\r\ncontent of the tibia bones of crossbreed native chicken. However, calcium and\r\nphosphorus levels in tibia bone have significant effect (P<0.05) due to the addition\r\nof suweg tuber meals (Amorphophallus campanulatus BL). It can be concluded that\r\nthe inclusion of suweg tuber meals (Amorphophallus campanulatus BL) at level 5,\r\n7.5 and 10% in native crossbred chickens rations had no negative effect on\r\nperformance. Suweg tuber (Amorphophallus campanulatus BL) can be utilized\r\nuntil 10% in native crossbreed chicken ration. \r\nKey words: Suweg, tibia bone, super native chicken.",
