    "notes": "The objectives of this study are: (1.) To identify agricultural waste\r\nwhich has the potential as a local feed source for ruminants. (2.) Knowing the\r\nlevel of agricultural waste production on ruminant farms. (3.) Knowing the\r\ncarrying capacity of agricultural waste for ruminant livestock businesses. This\r\nresearch has been conducted from June to August 2020 in Central Kupang\r\nDistrict, Kupang Regency by taking data from four sample villages, namely\r\nTanah Merah Village with an agricultural land area of 160 Ha, Noelbaki Village\r\nwith an agricultural land area of 128 Ha, Oelpuah Village with a land area\r\nagriculture is 71 Ha, and Oelnasi Village with agricultural land area is 50 Ha. The\r\nparameters examined in this study were (1.) The type of agricultural waste that\r\nhas the potential to be used as ruminant animal feed. (2.) Production of\r\nagricultural waste produced in the form of fresh or dry materials. (3.) Carrying\r\ncapacity of agricultural waste produced based on the dry matter requirement of\r\n1.ST. It can be concluded that the types of agricultural waste that can be used as\r\nanimal feed in the District of Central Kupang are corn straw, rice straw, and sweet\r\npotato leaves. The average production of fresh materials for Central Kupang\r\nDistrict is corn straw 24,11 tons \/ year, rice straw 12,1 tons \/ year, and sweet\r\npotato leaves 2,03 tons \/ year. The average dry matter production for Central\r\nKupang District is corn straw 2,03 tons \/ year, rice straw 1,03 tons \/ year, and\r\ncassava leaves 0.12 tons \/ year. The carrying capacity of agricultural waste based\r\non dry matter production in Central Kupang District is 1.39 ST \/ ha \/ year.\r\nKeywords: Agricultural Waste Production, Carrying Capacity of\r\nAgricultural Waste in Central Kupang District.",
