    "notes": "The objectives of this study are: 1) to know the types of agricultural waste in\r\nAesesa District; 2) to analyze the production of agricultural waste as feed for\r\nruminants in a year; and 3) to know the carrying capacity of agricultural waste\r\nproduced for ruminants. This research was conducted in Aesesa District, Nagekeo\r\nRegency from July to August 2020. The analysis of dry matter of the agricultural\r\nwaste was carried out at the Laboratoty of Nutrition and feed, Kupang State\r\nAgricultural of Polytechnic. The observed variables in this study are: 1) the types of\r\nagricultural waste; 2) the production of agricultural waste as feed for ruminants in a\r\nyear; and 3) the carrying capacity of agricultural waste produced for ruminants. The\r\nmethods of data collected were survey, interviews, and measurements using a square\r\nframe of 1 m x 1 m. The obtained data were analyzed by calculating the amount of\r\nagricultural waste production, analyzing the carrying capacity of agricultural waste\r\nand testing the dry matter content at the Laboratory of Animal Nutrition and Feed,\r\nState Agricultural Polytechnic of Kupang. The results of the analysis are then\r\npresented descriptively, quantitatively and qualitatively. This study concluded that\r\nthe types of agricultural waste that can be used as a source of local feed in Aesesa\r\nDistrict are rice straw, corn straw and cassava waste. The average production of\r\nagricultural waste for Aesesa District, represented by the four sample villages, is\r\n76,63 tonnes\/year of fresh material and 5,42 tonnes\/year of dry matter.
