The objectives of this study were: 1) to determine the types of agricultural waste in Talibura District; 2) to find out how much agricultural waste is produced in Talibura District; and 3) to find out how much the carrying capacity of agricultural waste produced for ruminant livestock in Talibura District. This research has been conducted for 2 months, from August to September 2020 in Talibura District, Sikka Regency. Dry matter analysis from agricultural waste was carried out at the Laboratory of Nutrition and Feed, State Agricultural Polytechnic of Kupang. The variables observed in this study were: 1) the type of agricultural waste in Talibura District; 2) production of agricultural waste produced in the form of fresh and dry materials; and 3) carrying capacity of agricultural waste produced using the standard of dry matter requirements 1 Livestock Unit. In general, it is concluded that the types of agricultural waste that can be used as animal feed in Talibura District are rice straw and corn straw. The average production of fresh agricultural waste in Talibura District is 414.89 tonnes / year. The average dry matter production of agricultural waste in Talibura District is 26.44 tons / year. The average carrying capacity of agricultural waste based on dry matter production in Talibura District is 15.4 ST / ha / year. Keywords: Waste, Agriculture, Carrying Capacity, Talibura
