PENGARUH FERMENTASI KULIT KACANG TANAH (Arachis hypogaea L.) DENGAN CAIRAN RUMEN KAMBING TERHADAP KECERNAAN NUTRIEN SECARA IN VITRO

The purpose of this study was to determine in vitro dry matter and organic
matter digestibility of fermented peanut hull by goat rumen fluid. The experiment was
used a completely randomized design (CRD), with 4 treatments and 5 replicates.
Treatments were KKT0: fermentation peanut hull without rumen fluid, KKT1
fermentation peanut hull with 25% goat rumen fluid, KKT2: fermentation peanut hull
with 30% goat rumen fluid, KKT3: fermentation peanut hull with 35% goat rumen
fluid. The results showed that goat rumen fluid had no significant effect (P> 0.05) on
dry matter and organic matter of peanut hull. However, it had significant effect
(P<0.05) on dry matter digestibility and organic matter digestibility of peanut hull. It
was concluded that using 25% goat rumen fluid could increase in vitro digestibility
dry matter dan organic matter of peanut hull.
