<note>The objective of the present study was to measure and compare the type of basal diets (TBD) and feed additive (FA) on to the economic value of broiler diets. The study was carried out at the State Polytechnic of Agriculture Kupang from June to August 2020. A total 0f 264 day old chick (DOC, Lohmann) were randomly distributed into 24 pens (11 birds/pen).The experiment was designed by using a 2 x 4 factorial complete randomized design. The treatment combinations were A = non-sago basal diets (NSBD) without feed additive (FA), B =NSBD + avyzime 0.10% and phyzyme 0.05%, C =NSBD+Allzyme SSF-E 0.05%, D =NSBD + synbiotic 40 mL/L air minum, E = sago basal diet (SBD) withoutFA, F = SBD + 0.10 %avyzime and phyzyme 0.05%, G = SBD + Allzyme SSF-E 0.0 5%, H =SBD + synbiotic 40 mL/L drinking water. The results of statistical analysis showed that the type of basal diet(TBD) had a significant effect (P< 0.05) on the total feed cost (TFC), income ofer feed cost (IOFC) and feed cost per gain (FCG) but itdid not affect (P>0.05) the efficiency of feed. (EF). Feed additive affected (P <0.05 to 0.01) the IOFC, feed use efficiency and FCG and TFC. The TBD x FA interaction affected (P <0.05 to 0.01) on the TFC, the IOFC; but it did not affect (P> 0.05) the efficiency of feed use and FCG. In conclusion, 1) the addition of the Allzyme in sago diets increased the total feed cost and IOFC; 2) the supplementation of feed additives in both type of diets reduced IOFC, increased total feed cost; 3) the addition of the Allzyme in sago diets increased the total feed cost but decreased IOFC</note>
