<note>The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the concentration of
liguid organic fertilizer (POC) made from kapok banana stems with cow dung on the
growth and determine the concentration of POC that provide growth and yield of raja
grass (pennisetum purpureum) plants. The research has been carried out in the garden
owned by Mr.Marselinus Nuwa for approximat 2 months, namely September-October
2020. This research is an experimental study with a completely randomized design
experimental design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 5 replications with the treatment
tested was the concentration: A0 = without treatment, P1 = 50 ml POC/200 ml water,
P2 = 60 ml POC/200 ml water, P3 = 70 ml POC/200 ml water, P4 = 80 ml POC/200
ml water. The research variables were increase in plant height (cm/week), increase in
number of leaves (number of leaves/week), and increase in number of tillers (number
of tillers/week). Research data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA)
based on Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and further test using Duncan’s
Multiple Range Test. The results of statistical analysis showed that the administration
of different POC had a significant (P>0,05) effect on plant height, a very significant
effect (P<0,01) on the number of tillers, and an insignificant effect (P>0,05) on the
number of leaves. Avarage plant height was 21,36 cm/2 weeks, the increase in the
number of tillers 5,96 tillers/2 weeks, and the increase in the number of leaves 5,58
the number of leaves/2 weeks.
 It was concluded that giving POC up to 80 ml/200 ml of water increased the
growth of king grass and the best dose of POC was 80 ml/200 ml of water.</note>
