This studyaims to evaluate the botanical composition, forage production, and the capacity of natural pasture cattle in Oben Village, Nekamese District, Kupang Regency at the beginning of the dry season. This research was conducted in early June 2021. The variables observed in this study were botanical composition, forage production and storage capacity. The results showed that the average production of fresh material was 1,812 tons fresh/ha, the average production of dry matter was 1.05 tons/ha, the average holding capacity was 0,91 ST/ha. The vegetation present at the research location, each presentation is grass 92.89% consisting of, Heteropogon contortus 26.95%, Cymbopogon obtectus 27.47%, Ornamental grass 30.94%, Pennisetum capillary 6.83%, Pennisetum Furgantum 1.70%, the percentage of legumes 0.23% consisted of Mikania micrantha 0.23%, while the percentage of Weeds 5.89% consisted of Cromolena odorata 0.47%, Flemingia grahamiana 2.47%, Ocimum tenuiflorum 1, 89% , Rumex Maritimus 1.04%. The livestock holding capacity in Oben Village, Nekamese District, Kupang Regency in a land area of 25 ha, can accommodate 22.75 ST/year cattle. It was concluded that the forage growing in the pasture area was dominated by 30.94% Ornamental grass and 27.46% Cymbopogon obtectus 30, 94%.
