    "notes": "Tamarind seeds have a high energy content but have limited use for pigs\r\nbecause the seed coat is tough and contains anti-nutrient tannins. Therefore, liquid\r\nfeed fermentation technology is carried out. The aim of this research was to assess\r\nthe gross energy, digestible energy and metabolizable energy content of liquid\r\nfeed fermentation (Lff) with different fermentation time in growing pigs. The\r\nresearch materials were whole tamarind seeds, bran, corn, meat and bone meal,\r\nand soybean meal. The study used a completely randomized design and consisted\r\nof 5 treatments and 5 replications. Treatment = Lf0: Lff time 0 days; Lf1: Lff for\r\n7 days, Lf2: Lff for 14 days, Lf3: Lff for 21days, Lf4: Lff for 28 days fermentation.\r\nThe research variables were the energy content of the ration and the prediction of\r\ndigestible energy and metabolic energy value. Data were analyzed using analysis\r\nof variance and Duncan's advanced test. The results showed that the fermentation\r\nof liquid feed containing tamarind seeds with different fermentation time had a\r\nsignificant effect (P<0.05) on the gross energy content, digestible energy, and\r\nmetabolic energy. The best gross energy content, digestible energy, and metabolic\r\nenergy at the fermentation time of 14 days, respectively 4,835 \u00b1 64.74 Kcal \/ kg,\r\n3.041 \u00b1 99.16 Kcal \/ kg, and 2,974 \u00b1 99.60 Kcal \/ kg. It was concluded that the\r\ntime for fermentation of liquid feed containing tamarind seeds which can produce\r\ngood energy content and prediction of digestibility and metabolic energy is 14\r\ndays",
