This study aims to evaluate the growth response of layer-starter phasebroiler chickens given different feed additives. This research was carried out fromDesember to February 2022 at Kupang State Agricultural Polytechnic. This studywas designed using a completely randomized design (CRD), consisting of 4treatments and 5 replications. The treatments consisted of P0 (control), P1(Control ₊ moringa leaf meal (MLM), 0.5%), P2 (Control ₊ kabesak extractsolution, 100 g/5 L water), and P3 (Control ₊ Zinc Bacitracin 0,05%. Variabels measured were body weight gain (BWG), feed intake and feed conversion ratio (FCR). The results of the statistical analysis showed that treatments had nosignificant effect (P>0.05) on ration consumption, body weight gain and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) of 3-week-old layer roosters. It was concluded that the growth performance of male layer chickens aged 3 weeks was not affected by the use of moringa leaf meal, Zink Bacitracin and kabesak extract solution. So, the use of MLM and kabesak extract solutions can be used to replace antibiotic growth promoters in broiler chikens rearing.
