This study aims to evaluate the growth response of 7 –weeks - old male layers given different feed additive. A total of 160 day old chick (male layer) were used in this study. This study was designed using A complete randomized design consisting of 4 treatments 5 replications (8 birds/replication). Treatment P0 : complete ration without moringa leaf meal (control; P2 : 2% kabesak wood solution; P3 : 0,5% Zinc Bacitracin. The results showed that treatment had no significant effect (P>0,05) on feed intake (FI), body wight gain (BWG) and feed conversion ratio (FCR) of 7 –weeks-old male layers. In conclusion, MLM can be used as potential feed additive to replace Zinc bacitracin and other growth promoter antibiotics. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the growth of layer broilers aged 7 weeks consuming rations containing moringa leaf powder gave the same response as other feed additives treatments. This shows that moringa leaf powder can be used as a natural feed additive to stimulate growth.
